Not really, since Kiya was gone and Nefertiti elevated. Someone had to fulfil the role of queen. Maybe thatís why Kiya had that special status however briefly - completing the functions that Nefertiti ...

Would this suggest Nefer-Tyti was just Tyti to begin with, the Ďneferí being added, perhaps at the time of the adoption of Neferneferuaten? Did Tyti become Neferneferuaten Nefertiti in one gulp?
