I was looking to "old posts" (before I joined).
I like your website. I will have to spend some more time looking at what's all there.

Do you have any information about the queens? I have a bunch of that info collected from different sources. This information (about the wives) is somewhat hard to get at.

I'll post it here sometime. I have to get it from my home computer...

Doesn't Joyce Tyldesly (spelling correction, if necessary, please) have a few books out on some of the Queens of Egypt? Meh, you already know, lol... just that I have a book by the same author on Rameses II and it's pretty good.

Yes, Tyldesley does have some books about queens, but I was referring to a list of all queens even the minor ones.

This is for instance a list of the queens of the 18th dynasty:
Dynasty 18
Tetishery, chief wife of Seqenenre Tao I and mother of Tao II.
Ahhotep I, chief wife of Seqenenre Tao II and mother of Kamose & Ahmose.

Some of these women are not mentioned very often, but are known to have played a significant role. Some became regents for small sons etc.

Got that right, I never even heard of some of those, let alone know anything about them Shocked I guess I'll have to go and find a great big resource site/book with them all described so I can find out about some of them...

when i first started reading the list you had posted there i was thinking.. this is all the women from Kamose and Si Amun and their fathers and brothers story.. yeah anyway.. cool.. ty for the site.. Smile
