I need to find out about how Egyptian burial customs rubbed off on other cultures. I know about how other parts of egypts religion influenced other nations, eg - the gods and goddesses. but need some info on the burial customs.... can anyone help.

Look at the burial customs of Nubia and Rome, as they were influenced by the Egyptians. The Black Pharaohs: Egypt's Nubian Rulers by Robert G. Morkot should help with that, and by doing random searches on Google you should find details on some pyramids in Rome. Wink

You should also check the Grottarossa mummy topic for info on mummies in the Roman Empire outside Egypt if you haven't done already.
The Phenecians (especialy those of Byblos) were also influenced by the egyptians. Example: some Phenecian kings were burried in sarcophagi made of red granite from Aswan.
