I have read translations of texts from AE in popular books in which they are talking about someone who has died and the term Justified is attached after the name; i.e. Mistress of the House Burlgirl Justified.

I was wondering if the term justified is a correct translation from the texts or is there a different word that should have been used? (i.e. Queen is often translated when Great Royal Wife is the actual phrase used).

Do they use it of someone who has died, and it just means that? They're died? Does it mean they believed correctly? What exactly does it mean?

I'm trying to understand this apart from my judeo christian background, and so I want to learn what the AEs were thinking, not what the term means to us nowadays....

Interestinly enough, I've heard many times in the past few years after someone has died, "They are in a better place now," to which response some have said, "So they are justified by death rather than faith?"

Looking forward to any insights you might have, and truely, I am looking for what the ancient egyptians thought and I don't want to get into our own personal beliefs.

Thanks for your help. Idea Idea

Neseret made a great response to this, when it was asked here before:

Reason why I remembered is because I was quite wrong in that thread.
People tend to learn more from their wrongs than from their rights. Cool
