As I write this, I am watching her do this on TV, pretending that the sheep is Tutankhamun.

The resemblance is uncanny - just kidding.

Tut as a sheep? Explains the shaved head? Or would that be shearing of the head?

How are they going to put the sheep's little "arms" in the royal position?

Puts a different twist on the King's Ba as well.

I think I had better stop now.

Oh, man, that was funny. I'm tempted to incorporate that into my tours. "And here in this vignette in the Book of the Dead, we can see a depiction of the deceased's baaaaaaa-soul."

People might look at me odd, but nothing new, right? Razz

Bob, was this on National Geographic? I remember you telling me about this at the ARCE lecture. I've never seen footage of Ikram mummifying a critter, so that would have to be interesting.

What I really want is for her to duplicate the experiment during which the mummified bunny exploded. I think that would be quite entertaining. Maybe we could get her to do that at a future ARCE lecture. Just don't sit in the front row. Shocked

I'm sorry, Kmt_Sesh, I don't remember which channel it was on. I'm thinking it might even have been the History Channel, which would be a surprise, since I've found very little history on there in recent years.

Haven't seen that show, Bob, but it sounds fascinating! I'll have to keep a lookout for it. Wink Was that what the whole program was about; mummifying the sheep?

Laughing Makes me think of Monty Python on the Holy Grail with the Killer Bunny. "Run away!!"
