I'm going to add some stuff to this:
I've been working on a set of drawings from a 21st dynasty coffin basin at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and also on a basin from the Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose. I just uploaded the first set to flickr, having persuaded my scanner to work for just a bit longer!
I've tried to be pretty accurate with these, but since I was just eyeballing all of the proportions (sometimes I used a grid), some of the layouts are a bit off.
Also, the hieroglyphs are pretty much what I thought I saw. Some are worn away and some are unclear because of idiosyncratic handwriting. If my grammar and vocab were better it would be more accurate, I'm sure.

I just finished my oil painting of Cleopatra and Caesarion on the Denderah back wall. Took me 82 hours to paint this.

Leena, I tried to make the image visible, but it didn't work out; you would not believe how I envy Anneke, Brandon, and several others here for their drawing capabilities, which I couldn't even come close to.

Whow, It took me about two hours to see all of your artwork. Great works. I’m not much of a painter or drawer, but I do like to construct. Here is a shrine, based on A.E. models that I made about 20 years ago.

That shrine is really amazing Raneferhotep! That looks like many, many, many hours of work. And well worth the effort.

BrandonP: I like the Nubian woman. Would you say it's manga style? I like the choices of colors in your work. The executioner really gets the point across Very Happy

Thank you Anneke, if I look at your work I’m also in awe. But also by the other “artists” ho share their work here with us.

My style is halfway between cartoony and realistic, but I'm not influenced by manga.

Excellent pieces of art done by everyone. I have no talent in painting, drawing, building, sculpting, sketching, etc (I can't even draw stick people). I wish I did.

Ranoferhotep -
Great pieces!!!!

When I was about 16 I found some miniature toys regarding A.E. in a local giftshop. They were blank and you had to paint them first. Once that done, I decided to build a palace for them, cause there were pharao’s, queens, nobles, peasants and military. This became the result

WOW! Holy Hannah, Ranoferhotep! You should apply for a job with the RMO or your local museum, your work reminds me very much of the miniatures of the types of burials and temples I saw in last July there. Is there a more close-up picture of the second photo an the one of the Gizeh plateau ? ( I recognized Abu el hol on the last photo!

A job well done, Ranoferhotep!
