Ahram-Online (Nevine El-Aref , Tuesday 12 Jun 2012) : Aten antiquities museum in Minya will open next year
Quote: | "On the Nile bank of Minya stands the pyramid-shaped building of the Aten Museum, waiting for the completion of its final phase, in order that it may welcome visitors next year.
The museum was designed by the German government as a gift for the Egyptian government in 1998, according to the partnership between the Aten Museum and the Hildesheim Museum in Germany. ..." |

Greetings, Lutz. |
Awesome! Where are the artefacts that are being held in the Minya museum from? Asking out of curiosity... _________________ It is of course the hieght of irony that, after this intensive campaign to expunge them from the annals of Egypt, the Amarna pharaohs are today probably the most recognized of all the country's ancient rulers!

I think the stocks in the warehouses of Karnak, Amarna and Hermopolis are probably enough to fill several museums. Of the other magazines across the country to say nothing ... And if need be, there are also still the basement in Cairo Museum.
