This is very rude. Can't we have a respectful conversation? Some folks on this forum (including me) call this country home, and insults like these very impolite. I always try to phrase my comments politely, and it'd make for nicer conversation if others would, too.

In which part I ever offended an entire coutry, can you explain?

also, calling someone's religious views:

I enjoy interesting conversation, and hearing other people's opinions. But I enjoy it more when things are polite.

1st, this is not a quote from Robson. 2nd, as you use it here it is out of context, because it is not against a country, it is about one person. And it is just my opinion. And is not the freedom of expression one of the highest goods in your country? For that you feel the need to defend it, oddly enough, although nobody here attacked or insulted it as a whole...

I really don't think that express what I think about a certain presidential pre-candidate makes me an americanophobe.

In both cases, the phrasing came across to me a bit like a blanket description. However, in any case, why not just use nicer words, regardless of who/what you're talking about? Obviously, yes, anybody can say whatever they want, but it takes zero extra effort to word it in a friendlier manner.

Maybe, when English is your native language ... Apart from the fact that I find neither of Robson's still at my choice of words to suspend anything, we can, of course, discuss further in German if you then feel better.
