Hi everyone,
Having done the higher diploma with homestudy.co.uk and half way through the fellowship I seem to now be stuck ( due to homestudy.co.uk cease to trader meaning I cannot complete the course)
The courses where really enjoyable and I'd like to continue my egyptology study ( degree level? )
Can anyone point me in the directory of another part time course?
thanks,
jason |

Well you might like to check out Manchester University's Certificate of Egyptology course. Perhaps I am allowed to put the link here? (Moderator: take this away if it is not ok):
http://www.knhcentre.manchester.ac.uk/
I am currently studying my first year, and just preparing my first paper on the development of funerary architecture from pre-dynastic times through mastabas to the pyramid complexes of the 4th dynasty.
The discussion with other students is very enlightening, but of course you need to study alone a lot. Lots of books to read...
Still I am hoping it would be possible to study online more than just these three years. But maybe in the future

Wait you can get an egyptology degree by online study? That is fascinating. I think I want to do that... |
