The answer is "probably" - we know that Akhenaten and Amenhotep III both had harems, at Gurob for example, but we don't have concrete evidence. It seems that Tutankhamun ruled from Memphis, judging from the tombs of his court, so it is possible that any harem was located there and sadly we don't know where it was. There is the possibility that he only fathered daughters (Amenhotep III and Akhenaten clearly mostly had daughters so Tut may have also), or for whatever reason none reached full term. No mention of children in his tomb, and we have no royal tutors known from Tut's reign.

However, KV40 shows that there was a definite lower status for wives and children outside the core family. That tomb contained the burials of approximately 40 individuals who were wives, children or grandchildren of Tuthmosis IV and Amenhotep III. Several are named and otherwise not known from other sources. So it is not impossible that Tut had a wider family but for whatever reason none were considered as rulers. It seems most likely given what happened that the king definitely had no sons with minor wives, or (and this is a real stretch) that they were only babies which is why Ay took over.

The same question also arises in relation to Horemheb, who had no known children - though in his case he may have made a conscious decision to pick Paramessu who will have had an adult son (Seti I) and teenage grandson (Ramesses II) to secure a stable monarchy.

Maybe, in advance, to clarify the concept ...
