You might check out this thread.
It's a bit much to put in here again. Wink
I'm sure there are more bits on Amenirdis all over the forum though.

I was actually looking at the kings who came after the 25th egyptian dynasty.

These kings ruled over Nubia:

King Atlenersa He married the daughter of Taharqa. Her name was Queen Yeturow. (Have seen Different spellings as well)
Atlenersa's other wife was Queen Malotaral.
She was the mother of King Senkamanisken.

King Senkamanisken married Queen Masalaye and Queen Nasalsa.
Queen Nasalsa was the mother to the next two kings.

King Anlamani

King Aspelta King Aspelta married Queen Henut-takhebit (daughter of Anlamani) Their son Aramatelqo would come to the throne next.
There is also evidence of at least 4 more Queens to Aspelta:
Asata, Artahat, Maqmalot, and Piye-her

King Aramatelqo married Queen Akhyqo, Queen Malotasen and Queen Pihatis.
I could not find out how Aramatelqo was related to the next three Kings:

King Malonaqen + Queen Atamatake

King Analmaaye

King Amani-nataki-lebte

I just stumbled across a german site:
http://home.arcor.de/aegypten22/nubien/nubkoenige/nubtabelle.html

The Kings starting with Aspelta are regarded as the Meroitic Dynasty.
They ruled from the capital of Meroe, and their tombs were mainly at Nuri.

According to this author Malonaqen was the son of Aspelta and Amanitakaye. He was married to Queen Atamake and Queen Tagtal.

So the dynasty went back to a son of the first King of this dynasty.

Analmaaye was married to Queen Tagtal.
Did he get the throne by marrying the widow of the previous king maybe???

I think it's most likely Analmaaye was a brother to Malonaqen and that Tagtal was their sister (whom they both married). If there would be a change of lineage and all that, it would probably have gotten "more attention". All seems to have remained quiet though.

I was looking at the tombs of the Nubian Kings.
It seems they were buried in pyramids in el Kuru, Nuri, Barkal and Meroe.

This is the list (as far as I could find it from above mentioned website):
Pyramids at El-Kurru (or El-Kuru)
1. Unknown King (4th Century BC)
3. Queen Naparaye , wife of Taharqo and daughter of Piye
5. Queen Qalhata, wife of Shabaqo, mother of Tanwetamani and Shebitqo.

8. Kashta (760-747 BC)
9. Alara (785-760 BC)

15. Shabaqo (716-702 BC)
16. Tanwetamani (664-656 BC)
17. Piye (747-716 BC)
18. Shebitko (702-690 BC)

52 Queen Neferukekashta, wife of Piye
53 Queen Tabiry, wife of Piye and daughter of Alara and Kasaqa.

Many of the 25th dynasty Kings were buried here at El Kuru.
The exception is Taharqo. He was buried at Nuri.

I have no idea why pyramid #7 has 3 kings assigned to it. Could be a misunderstanding on my part Smile

I was amazed at how many queens were buried here.
