Yeah, I have problems with hands and feet, they're the most complex things on the human body to draw.

That's a wonderful job, Daniella. I love it. Very Happy

Do you have any image-editing software? All you really need to do is fiddle with the grayscale levels and/or boost the contrast.

Oh, that's no big deal. With an Egyptian statue the arms are straight down the sides and the feet about three sizes too large.

Just think Mickey Mouse standing at attention with the left foot forward. Laughing

LOL All portraying themselves with large feet? Interrresting....

Haven't tried to paint a standing statue. The seated ones are a challenge I think.

LOL That helps...

Oh, I forgot to mention the Mickey ears. Don't paint them on your figures because most ancient Egyptians probably didn't have Mickey ears. Very Happy

Ever notice in early Armana Period art everyone has 2 left feet? Later they atarted drawing the royal family with L and R feet, but regular people still had to hop around on 2 left feet.

Filthy peasants, anyway.

So if you tip over an Amarna statue, you'll see the hieroglyphs for "Left" and "Right" on the bottoms of the feet? Very Happy

This gives me an idea, Daniella. Do a drawing of Akhenaten and Nefertiti performing a Waltz. Or maybe the Tango!

LOL, or perhaps a break dance, you know, b-boy style. They'd be bein' the most badest, radest, hip-hopinest, Aten lovin', fat-assed royals in the west.

Or I could just draw them getting down and dirty. You know, like in a mud puddle or something?

Actually I have another sketch ready, but guess what? Dumb ol' Danielle has another problem with her darn computer, what a surprise! By the time I get it to do what I want I'll have a couple more, hopefully.

I picture that scene from the movie Ghost where Patrick has his clay-smeared arms wrapped around his girl, only now it's Akhenaten and Nefertiti at the potter's wheel.

I hope you'll figure out the computer glitch. I'm ready to see more of your art. The first thing you should check with your computer is if it's turned on.

What? Don't I have a right to give you crap now and then? Laughing

A-huh, huh, huck. You's funny. I think you need to check if your head is turned on. Laughing
