Of course it is. But it's usually either screwed on too tightly or it's on backwards. Such is my lot. Sad

That is just terrific, Daniella. I don't think Akhenaten's ever looked so striking and noble. You should have been his royal artist. Why don't you call up Tell el-Amarna and see if the position is open?

A great job with light and shadow. Wink

Daniella,

Your latest sketch is again very beautiful. I love your work.

Yesterday I showed your previous sketches to a good friend of my, who also makes drawings and paintings and he found your work very good and beautiful.

That sounds great, you wouldn't happen to have the number by any chance would ya?

Hey, from what I understand, she was the partying, good-time kind of gal.

I used to, but they've been blocking all of my calls lately. I think they moved and didn't leave me their new number.

Oh, wait, that was my parents.

Since we're all on the subject of art, I figured this would be a good time to share the art for my "TuT!" comic with you guys. ^__^ All of these are either scenes or official art for my comic. Have a go at this!

That's just a sample of what's to come. Wink My closest friends like Kmt and Daniella have seen these. Those of you who haven't seen the extent of my imagination, be prepared. My TuT! comic is coming out this summer. Huzzah for deadlines!

...Well, not really. But hey! I get motivated to get the job done. Laughing Cool

Way to go, tutness! I'm glad you shared them with us here. I still get a laugh every time I see Tut mumble that "Lardass" remark. Laughing

I hope you make that deadline!

Well, buddy, of course I'd share them on here!! And why not? Smile Meh-heh, I'm glad you think the Tut comment on his dad is funny...I just need a better comeback for Akhenaten, and the halarity level can rise and we'll have a good day. ^__^ Hehe, anyone have a suggestion on what Akhenaten should call Tut as an insult? Wink Laughing

I hope I make it too, thanks Kmt. Shocked Must...not...be...lazy....

Can't think of one word, but insults should be doable :d

"Poor boy, did the embalmers make a mistake and pull out your brain before you were dead? That's so sad.... "

Laughing That was a good one, hun. Cool I'll put it on my long list of Tut insults that Akhenaten can call him. But I'll definately use that one too, thanks. Very Happy I can also use more insults of what Tut can call Akhenaten...all are welcomed and appreciated. ^__^

I'm not one to believe that the Amarna statuary accurately depicts the way Akhenaten and family looked, but goodness, there's material to be had there for the advacement of comedy.

Tut to Akhenaten: "Gee, dad, thanks for the hips and the egg-shaped head. All the girls think I look like some kind of art nouveau lampstand."

Akhenaten to Tut: "Insolent turd! May the Aten fry your flesh and wither your 'royal sceptor.'"

(Okay, so art nouveau started in the 1880s, but one must allow a certain amount of artistic license for the sake of literature. Very Happy )

Some others:

"That boy is a couple of stones short of a pyramid."

Just curious, but if "the lights go on" for some person would you draw an oil lamp instead of a lightbulb? There must be some joke about an oil shortage in there somewhere Laughing
