Does anyone here write stories or do art (drawings, cg art, painting etc) inspired by Ancient Egypt?

I have pictures but my scanner's broken so I can't show them off which is a shame. As for stories, I tried to write some but they are rubbish...

One person's rubbish is another's treasure. If you feel up to it I'm sure others here would love to see what you have written.

Most of the stories are very incomplete and are just ideas scribbled in old notebooks right now, but maybe one day i'll show them off. Smile

For those of you who have not seen Winifred Brunton's paintings, look at this site:
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/gavin.egypt/bruntports.htm

She used statues and/or mummies to base her paintings on.

This is an example of her painting of queen Tiye:

Marianne Luban has made some drawings:

Here's Thutmosis IV from her site:

This is her version of Queen Tiye:

And Maghaera Lorenz has done some really nice work (I like her drawings)
http://www.heptune.com/artgal.html

She has a lot of drawings of people from the amarna period.

This is her version of Queen Tiye
