Poor imanobody. We've misidentified your gender and called you an Ay lover (well, all right, that was me), and now you've been described as a pug. When will it end? Laughing

Here are some of my latest Very Happy

This is a well-known scene from the tomb of Horemheb in Saqqara.

This is a scene from the tomb of Maya. Also from Saqqara.

This is a well-known plaque from the Louvre depicting Ramesses II as a child.

This is a scene showing Nefertari I think before Taweret, Thoth and Isis or Hathor.

Wow Anneke, I love the Ramses picture as a child, he looks so sweet and innocent, lol. I'd never seen that plaque before, so I've just had a look at it on the 'net. It's a shame there's no colours left on it now (that I could see). I love the colours you've used though, it brings it more to life! Very Happy
They're all so detailed, you're such a talented drawer.

Just found the time to create smaller images for posting:

Princess-Queen Nebettawy. Daughter-Queen of Ramesses II

Princess-Queen Meryetamun. It's probably due to the way the artists worked, but she sure looks like her mother Queen Nefertari here Very Happy

Beautiful work, anneke. I was very impressed particularly by the one of Ramesses II as a child--you nailed the details in his plaited sidelock. So I'm weird, but the detail in that sidelock is what grabbed my attention. Very Happy

Great job anneke! But dang, Taweret needs to go to Weight Watchers. Meryetamun does look a lot like Nefertari, but that may be due to Ramesses telling her to dress up like Nefertari, the limited "royal" style of the time, or she just wanted to imitate her more famous mother. Why is Ramesses smelling his finger anyway?

Anneke, they way you painted Princess-Queen Meryetamun's transparent pleated dress is very special. It outlines the shape of her body. The vulture crown and earring are also very beautiful painted. Her painted face is very lovely to see. The details are again great.

Very nice work Razz

Wow anneke, I think you're improving. Very Happy I really like the last one you posted (Princess-Queen Meryetamun). It's simple, but very well done. Very Happy

Well, I have completed my Nefertiti painting, but I'm way to tired to scan it and so on and so forth. I had a long and draining day. I'll do it tomorrow. Very Happy
