Thanks.

That's neat that your mother paints kmt_sesh. I would like to take some classes at some point. I learned from books and by just experimenting a bit.
I also did what Sinzi mentioned. I tried to copy a painting from a poster I have in my house. I gave up pretty quickly on making an exact copy Very Happy I settled on a piece "very much inspired by".

It did make me look at paintings in an entirely different way after trying it myself.

I wish I had more time for it. Life is just so hectic right now.

I know what you mean by copying a painting. I like to do that but I also end up adding something that raepesents me. Laughing But I think that's the fun of it. As you said, after you finish it you look at it from a totally different point of you. It is great kmt_sesh that your mother, after all these years she still paints. She most love it if she she didn't gave up on that dream.

You need to put the images on a webserver, so that you can refer to a url.
I have them in a folder on my website at work.
Then you can use: [img] "url of your picture"

Oops, that should be

I hope it works. I would love to see your work.

I did have to use a graphic converter to resize the pictures. What I initially got (from a digital camera) was huge. I turned them into .gif files as well. Those worked better for me qua size and color.
If you run into obstacles, PM me and I can maybe help you.

Hmm, well there is a problem. What url should I use because I don't have a wepage. There are some sites where you can post your own pictures. You think it could work with that? I"m not very good at this

Ok. Let's see if it works. It is a drawing after a painting of Magritte.

The solution to your 'problem' is that there should be no spaces between '[img]' and the url.
