UC410 is a broken stela (8 parts + a large missing part) in the Petrie
and Cairo Museums. Studies of UC 410 :
M.Gabolde "D'Akhenaton à Toutankhamon p162-166
R.Krauss BSEG 13 p83-87
J.P.Allen JARCE XXV p117-126.
One can see UC410 on the Petrie website, however reading the text is very difficult. I do not own the Gabolde anymore and never had the two others articles.
Khuy-n-inpw, in addition to your correction to my message, "Aten" is in the standard direction, when in Nefertiti cartouche it is in the reverse one. |

I didn't notice that! What significance might it have, do you think?

This difference alone could tell that Neferneferuaten-Nefertiti and Neferneferuaten are two differents characters. Nefertiti as priestess is well know, the reverse Aten allows the determinative at the end of the cartouche to face the God. Speculations on the origin of Nefertiti is for another thread. |
