Hallo You will need anaglyph glasses (red/cyan) to see depth.
Thes mummy cases are in the Rijksmuseum voor Oudheden at Leiden.

Wim, nice pictures, do you use a special camera for this kind of photo's, Or does a Photoshop plug in takes care of the conversion?

Hallo Toth, Thanks for reply.
I use two camera's and a special computerprogram to make anaglyphs of the two pictures.
In Leiden, it was a special trick to avoid the glass window.

Greetings wim.

Yeah Wim, tell me about the problems of taking pictures in the RMO, Leiden; I was there in July, and in some spots it was so dark that I thought I had stepped in the very crypt, these mummy cases came from. I know they won't allow you to use a tripod, so you to align those camera settings manually... Great job, Wim, chapeau!

BTW: Is there a reader who can tell me why a photographer isn't allowed (and not just in the RMO) to bring and use a tripod? Are they afraid a "mad" photographer smashes those pesky glass showcases (avoiding their reflections in your photo's is a trade by itself, like a scribe)
