You have Afrocentrics claiming the Ancient Egyptians were originally black then Eurocentrics claiming Ancient Egyptians were originally White!
so there's this big Contraversy over what was the race and the origins of the Ancient Egyptians! This topic has fascinated me for a bit lately! and i would like to see people's opinions and evidence Thanks |

Well, obviously, with that strong Egyptian sun, all white people were definitely suntanned to a deep golden Brown.
The exception seems to be Rahotpe's wife from Meidun (Khufu's sister in law) who must have been permanently confined to home duties well away from the sun, so she kept a pale skin whiteness apparently appreciated by her contemporaries.
The Nubians appear to have been as black then as they remain today, so they are depicted with black skin, as well as all the other Africans from more southerly latitudes.
I believe the coloring of people was mostly realistic, maybe excepting the use of Green for Osiris and occasional ceremonial Blue or deep Black for some others. _________________ Truthfulness may be relative, but can be kept very high when faithfully recording past events just how they would be seen from a visiting time machine, or as close as possible |

You are playing with fire when it comes to race and is therefore not welcome here. Please do not start topics regarding whether ancient Egyptians were black or white. Thank you. _________________ "Man fears Time - but Time fears the pyramids" - Old Egyptian saying |
