For those of you who put off buying the "good" Egyptology books until you have enough money (like me), I think the time may have finally come.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) presently has the following titles for sale at deep discount:

An Egyptian Bestiary, by Dorothea Arnold was $12.95, now $5.00

Egyptian Studies III: Varia Nova, by H. G. Fischer was $65.00, now $10.00

Egyptian Titles of the Middle Kingdom, Part III, by H. G. Fischer (1997) was, about $40.00 or more Now $.75
(not a misprint: 75 cents!)

Not on sale, but at a good price:

Le Papyrus d'Imouthès, Fils de Psintaes, selling for $30.00

Go to --> Metropolitan Musem Online Store.

I doubt these titles will last long, so if you can crack open that piggy bank, now may be as good a time as any. Very Happy

HTH.
