This is a nice little book. Lots of interesting pictures and information. It does seem to bridge the findings of the first caves and writings of the Egyptians to the ideas they developed afterwards in their more developed culture. It did quite fascinate me.

This was a cool little pdf on the predynastic Egypt. There does seem to be a divide between styles of the portrayal of artwork. There is the nomadic tribal artwork with rudimentary shapes and handprints, and then there is the elaborately designed planned out, meticulous, and abstract version of the depiction of their life. One of them is simple the other complex.
