I get stuck with this hieroglyph from Faulkner's dictionary. I couldn't check primary source from which this hieroglyph came from, so I checked WB and Projet Rosette website, and get some different results, which by me, are not same as that hieroglyph from Faulkner's dictionary. Here is side by side comparison of different sources.

Certainly A 90c , a variant of A90 (see Hannig, WB and TLA, document DZA 22.380.290)
A58 (with the hoe) makes no sense!

Hm... Could be, probably. Do you have access to original document, primary source called Pierre Lacau, Textes religieux egyptiens, 23, 69.70? Just to be sure. _________________ "To speak the names of the dead is to make them live again."

Thank you. As I can see on TLA document, it came with risen arms, not down as from WB. On which page is the picture you send me in this french document? _________________ "To speak the names of the dead is to make them live again."

I checked, zoomed picture of that hieroglyph with special program, cleared it, and did reconstruction, and this is what I got:
As we can see, the hieroglyph is with risen arms, not lowered down as in WB.
That give as a information that WB got it wrong somehow, or WB came in possession of original inscription from the wall and see it right. _________________ "To speak the names of the dead is to make them live again."

I saw that but I see different hieroglyphs for same inscription, but I am wonder is that primary inscription (on the wall) is the same, or there are two different inscriptions, so there are two different transcriptions in the books. _________________ "To speak the names of the dead is to make them live again."
