Congratulations, have a great time.
It's cooling down nicely, mid 30's so should be a reasonable temp for you to site see. Make sure you drink plenty of water (a bottle coolbag is really handy to bring with you ) we never go out without one. _________________ http://picasaweb.google.com/112743752796606929007 |

Back from honeymoon.Had a lovely time. But if anyone plans to visit soon be prepared to be swamped with the locals with there hands out. They seemed worse than they have ever been. But one good thing..At lunchtime the Egyptian museum in Cairo was almost empty.Good for us tourists. |

The "High season", when the weather is most hospitable to most tourists is from November until early March. After then you have the Khamseen, when winds blow dust all around for 50 days, and it begins to warm up appreciably thereafter, so not the best time to travel. It becomes increasingly difficult to escape the heat afterwards until November again, with summer temps often reaching 50 d C + in some areas of Egypt.
That's how it works temperature-wise, which is what guides most tourists who visit Egypt.
However, if you follow your travel agencies advertisements, they are MORE than willing to send you off cheaply to Egypt in the middle of May - September/October. So, if you like real heat and have no money, you could travel like that (I wouldn't do this, and I have been to Egypt over a dozen times).
