Something I've wondered about for some time now but haven't run across a discussion of... has anyone else noticed how unusual the uraei on Tutankhamen's burial mask and coffins are?
The singularity of the find and the familiarity of the images confuse the issue a bit, but has anyone ever seen another king depicted with both vulture and uraeus cobra together like that-- in a funerary context or anywhere else? |
